ALPACA EXPERIENCE: HAND IN HAND WITH AN ALPACA IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE
Alpaca walk in the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Park
A unique and unforgettable experience in contact with nature and the extraordinary alpacas
The experience will begin with a short introduction during which the true protagonist of the day will be presented: Macchia, a friendly alpaca that resembles the dragon from The Neverending Story! We will also be explained how to interact with the animal and we will have a few minutes to get to know each other.
It will be then that our walk in the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Park can begin: we will venture on a dirt path entering woods of oaks, maples and hornbeams characteristic of the central Apennines. All in the company of the alpaca Macchia, who we could hold on a halter, sharing the lead with the other participants. In the meantime, the guide will not fail to provide us with explanations about the territory, the fauna and flora that inhabit this natural setting of the Marche.
After having traveled about 4.5 km with a difference in altitude of 30 m, we will finally return to the meeting point. Here we will also find the other alpacas of the estate to welcome us, whom we can say hello to: Moka, Chicco, Knock and Nebbia! The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
