On this tour, we'll visit the wonderful town of Alberobello (also known as the city of trulli) and Matera. Alberobello was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 because it is an exceptional example of prehistoric building techniques that have survived intact and are still in use in the modern world. A "Trullo" is actually a small limestone house, built with dry stone walls, roughly worked limestone blocks collected from nearby fields, and topped with a conical roof. Souvenir shops, B&Bs, bars, and restaurants will enhance your stay in Alberobello. Matera is the city of the Sassi, the original urban center, which developed from natural caves dug into the rock and subsequently shaped into increasingly complex structures within two large natural amphitheaters: the Sasso Caveoso and the Sasso Barisano.

Choose the boat tour of the Polignano a Mare caves and be amazed by the jagged cliffs overlooking the sea! During the experience, you'll visit all of Polignano's caves, the famous Palazzese Cave, and the Swallows' Cave, cruising along the coast to Cala Port'alga and the Lovers' Cave a little further on, passing by the Hermit's Rock. Our tour includes an aperitif on board and the option to stop for a dip in the bluest sea! We depart from the San Vito Marina, a hamlet of Polignano a Mare, a 10-minute drive from the center of Polignano, but a transfer service can be purchased separately. During the excursion, a swimming stop is included in one of the most picturesque spots on the Polignano coast.
